I just looked at my last post...it was on Monday. It is now Thursday and we are nearly through our third week. Notary was on Tuesday and waiting on our pre-court date. Found two new amazing restaurants near the apartment, one Asian the other Italian. YEA! The girl who waited on us spent her summer at Cape Cod and simply gushed about Boston and the Cape. She was wonderful and delighted to help us.
It's wonderful to be a little family here...and Craig and I take turns spending morning/afternoons with Sean and Lily. The weather is amazing and almost an indian summer temp, and very cold at night which makes for great sleeping.
Not one of us is ready to come home yet! Funny, I wouldn't have believed it prior to our visit. Craig misses his weekend newspaper, and we all miss our Ryan and Packer!
As of now, it still looks like a return sometime around August 19th. Not sure...nothing so far has been textbook..it's actually been better, as things have been very smooth. Don't want to jinx it.

The Children of Kazakhstan
The children placed are as young as 8-9 months old at the time of placement. The Staff in all the baby houses are very dedicated to waiting children and take very good care of them until they find their forever families! The children of Kazakhstan are born in maternity hospitals and remain there until they are 30 days old, when they are transferred to a baby house. In the baby house, the children receive specialized care from the doctors and nurses. The Baby houses are actually medical facilities that consist of a staff of Doctors, Nurses, and a diverse team of Specialists. These include Neurologists, Orthopedic Specialists, Speech Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Teachers. The children are evaluated on a daily basis in terms of their medical health and overall development. A common day in the baby house consists of music lessons, massage therapy, physical education, play therapy, and speech therapy.
Where in the world is Kazakhstan?
One of the largest republics to come out of the breakup of the former Soviet Union. The northern borders touch Russia and the eastern borders touch China. This beautiful nation is rich with history, mountains, and beautiful people. Kazakhstan is known for its agriculture, mining, and space missions to the Russian space station MIR.
